Born in 1984, Jessica Nicole Trisko was crowned the
Miss Earth title in the year, 2007. She hails from Vancouver, British
Columbia in Canada and has traveled to various places for the purpose of
education. Jessica, who represented Canada at Miss Earth 2007, became
the first Canadian to win the Miss Earth title. Her link with the
modeling world is not new as she has been a part of the fashion world
since she was 15. A Canadian of mixed Asian and European heritage,
Trisko has a command over three language English, Russian and French.
Jessica Trisko has traveled far and wide for her education gaining a
new experience every time she changed her place. She completed her
graduation from the McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, where she was
tagged as a great sportsperson. She had later moved to United States and
Russia to complete her master Degree in Arts. It was in 2006 that she
moved back to, from where she had started, in Montreal to start a Ph.D.
in Political Science at McGill. Jessica has also received the doctoral
studies grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council
of Canada.
Trisko entered the fashion world at the tender age of 15. She marked
her way debuting in charitable fashion shows. It was in 2001 that she
grouped with Ford Models and L'Oréal to participate in the
behind-the-scenes reality television series Supermodels, which featured
eight half-hour episodes. She left the fashion scenario to complete her
education before she returned to modeling in the year 2007. Apart from
bagging the crown of Miss Earth 2007, she had also reached the top ten
at Miss Universe Canada in the year 2007.
