Winners
Tatana Kucharova of Czech Republic won the title of Miss World 2006, held in
Warsaw, Poland. She is the first lady from the Czech Republic to win the
title at the final event of the Miss World event. During a two-hour finals ceremony in the Polish capital in 2006, Kucharova surpassed 103 other women in voting among a panel of judges and from television viewers around the world. She was presented the Miss World title by the President of Poland and asked to become an ambassador of peace.
Brief Biography
This 177cm tall girl with long blond hair was born in Trnava, Slovakia and grew up in the town of Opocno, Czech Republic. She loved traveling and wanted to become a model which she hoped would enable her fulfill her hobby. She is fond of tennis and horse riding. She has many pets, including a turtle, bird, many cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. She believes in the motto Always be an Optimist.
