Crown Convention Centre Nha Trang

The Miss Universe 2008 winner will be crowned at the Crown Convention Centre in Diamond Bay of Nha Trang city of Vietnam. The Diamond Crown Theatre happens to be the biggest stage in the Southeast Asian nation, with an arena of 1,500 square meters. The Diamond Bay or the Nha Trang Tourism and Entertainment Area is 14 km away from the centre of the Nha Trang city. It is here where the most beautiful young lady from amidst 80 nations will be crowned the Miss Universe 2008 on July 14. The Crown Convention Centre has a seating capacity of 7,500 to 8,000 people and is equipped with the latest audio and lighting system imported from the US.

The Crown Convention Centre is spread over an area of 10,000 square meters. Outside the performing stage is a refreshment area that can accommodate one thousand people at the same time. Three important shows will take place on the stage of the Diamond Crown Theatre. This will include Final Presentation show, July 8, 2008 from 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm; Dress Rehearsal, July 13, 2008 from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm and then finally Live Crown Telecast, July 14, 2008 from 9.00am to 11.00 am.

The city of Nha Trang is prepared in full swing to host the final Miss Universe 2008 event. Vice Chairman Le Xuan Than, the head of the organizing committee, incharge of Miss Universe in Nha Trang had earlier revealed that Engineers and workers were assigned work to build high quality roads and lighting system for the event. Miss Universe 2008 organizing company Unicorp. has added 324 five-star rooms and suites in Diamond Bay before the contestants arrived in Vietnam on June 15, 2008. The state Police Department is also well prepared for anti-terrorism maneuvers in Diamond Bay at the beginning of June 2008. The city of Nha Trang and especially Diamond Bay is hence fully geared up to host Miss Universe 2008.
