Miss Earth 2008

Miss Earth is the only beauty pageant in the world with a defined purpose. The fact which makes it different from two other global scale beauty events, Miss World and Miss Universe. Contestants and winners of this event promote the preservation of the environment and actively participate in several environmental friendly activities. This year's event focuses on the theme Green Lifestyle. The event would be glamorized by 85 beauties from around the globe, all competing for the coveted title of Miss Earth.

Find round of Miss Earth 2008 is scheduled to be hosted on 9th November at Clark Expo Amphitheater at Angels City, a suburb of Manila, the capital of Philippines. The pageant will be telecasted worldwide by ABS-CBN, Star World, Filipino Channel and partner channel networks.

The event is being hosted by Carousel Productions, Inc. The corporation believes that beauties can be a good and effective advocate of worthy causes. Miss Earth beauty pageant is an attempt by the organizers to give life to their vision. This is an effort to associate a beauty pageant to the requirements of the new millennium.
